Please note that only applicants currently residing in Mauritius will be considered.
- Perform routine inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and equipment to identify needed repairs.
- Performs repairs for the heating, ventilation, air-conditioning and refrigeration systems in the hotel facilities.
- Maintain and repair electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems throughout the hotel.
- Respond promptly to guest requests for maintenance assistance, including after-hours emergencies.
- Communicate with guests or staff to resolve any HVAC maintenance issues.
- Perform preventive maintenance for all HVAC units and refrigerators.
- Test, troubleshoot and perform basic repair on all types of equipment when required.
- Responsible for implementation of energy conservation techniques on HVAC systems.
- Communicate each days activities and problems that occur to the other shifts using approved hotels communication programs and standards
Qualifications & Experience
- 2-3 years minimum as HVAC/Kitchen Technician in 4- or 5-star hotel.
- Technical qualification (HVAC and or Machinal engineering).
