Job Overview:
The Senior Artworker (SAW) is responsible for delivering high-quality, ready-to-print assets across various BTL and Direct Marketing projects. This role requires expertise in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and comprehensive knowledge of print production processes. The SAW takes ownership of projects from start to finish, ensuring all assets meet technical specifications and brand standards, while efficiently collaborating with internal teams and clients.
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, 12:00 PM - 21:00 PM.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Production & Quality Control:
- Execute complex technical production tasks with precision and consistency.
- Ensure all assets are print-ready, adhering to technical specs and brand guidelines.
- Monitor and ensure the quality of work delegated to junior artworkers.
2. Project Ownership:
- Independently manage projects, ensuring deadlines are met without compromising quality.
- Provide accurate brief analysis and estimation for project timelines and resource needs.
3. Collaboration:
- Work closely with Project Managers and artwork teams to streamline production processes.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams across print and digital disciplines.
4. Image Retouching:
- Perform image retouching and manipulation as part of asset production.
5. Process Optimization:
- Stay updated on industry trends and technologies, proactively sharing best practices.
- Identify and implement improvements in the production process to enhance efficiency and quality
6. Client Communication:
- Support Project Managers during client calls, providing technical expertise when needed.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Expert knowledge of Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
- Deep understanding of print production, technical specs, and file preparation.
- Strong eye for detail with the ability to spot and fix inconsistencies instantly.
- Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously, delivering high-quality results under tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with teams and clients.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Extensive experience in packaging production.
- Advanced image retouching and color correction skills.
