Job Summary:
The Accounting Clerk Level 3 will manage advanced accounting tasks, ensure the accuracy of financial records, and support the accounting team in maintaining compliance with regulations. The role requires expertise in accounting practices, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounting Operations:
- Reconcile accounts, including bank statements and subsidiary ledgers.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Handle adjusting journal entries and maintain the general ledger.
Accounts Payable/Receivable:
- Process invoices, payments, and expense reports.
- Monitor overdue accounts and ensure timely collection of receivables.
- Maintain accurate vendor and customer records.
Payroll Support:
- Assist with payroll processing by reviewing timesheets and other records.
- Post payroll-related journal entries and handle reconciliations.
Compliance and Auditing:
- Ensure adherence to company policies and financial regulations.
- Prepare documentation for audits and assist with audit processes.
Reporting and Analysis:
- Generate financial summaries and reports for management.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies or variances in financial records.
Administrative Duties:
- Organize and maintain both digital and physical financial records.
- Provide support to senior accounting staff as required.
Qualifications:
- Education:
- Minimum qualification: ACCA Part 3 (ongoing).
- Experience:
- 4 years of relevant working experience in accounting roles.
- Skills:
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or SAP) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Salary and Benefits:
- Salary range: Rs. 27,000 + (excluding transport).
Work Environment:
- Standard office environment with occasional overtime during reporting periods or audits.
