Department: Design/Production Reporting To: Production Manager Location: Industrial Park, La Tour Koenig, Pointe aux Sables Position Type: Full-Time PURPOSE OF THE ROLE We are looking for a creative and versatile Graphic Designer who is as comfortable at the computer as on the production floor. Beyond creating artwork, the successful candidate will take part in the practical side of jobs: preparing, collage, assembly, finishing and on-site/field work, ensuring that what is designed is produced and delivered to the highest standard. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Design • Create and adapt artwork for print and signage ( banners, stickers, vehicles and shops branding, packaging, signages, stands, displays etc.). • Prepare print-ready files: colour profiles, bleeds, resolution, cut lines and file formats. • Interpret client briefs, propose concepts and make corrections based on feedback. • Take measurements and produce layouts, mock-ups and proofs for approval. • Maintain consistency with client brand guidelines and Sériplus quality standards. Production & hands-on work • Assist with collage, mounting and assembly of printed materials. • Support finishing and assembly of finished products (signage, displays, panels, etc.). • Check printed output against the approved design and flag quality issues early. • Work alongside the production team to meet deadlines, including during peak periods. General • Organise and archive design files, templates and job references. • Keep the workspace, tools and materials clean, safe and well organised. • Comply with health and safety rules when handling tools, cutting equipment and during installation. SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS Essential • Proficiency in design software: Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator. • Creative mindset with strong attention to detail. • Computer literate (Microsoft Office, file management, email). • Willingness and physical ability to do practical, hands-on work (cutting, collage, assembly, installation). • Ability to work in a team and to multitask under deadlines. • Good communication skills in English and French; Creole is an advantage. Desirable • Diploma or certificate in Graphic Design, Multimedia, Printing or a related field (or equivalent practical experience). • Knowledge of print production processes (digital, large format) and finishing techniques.
