Your Role and Who You Are
We are looking for a Sous Chef to become an integral part of our Kitchen team. In this role, you will:
1. Collaborate with the Executive Chef to plan and create innovative menus.
2. Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficiency and quality.
3. Supervise and train kitchen staff, promoting a positive work environment.
4. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the kitchen.
5. Manage food costs and maintain inventory levels.
6. Monitor food preparation, presentation, and taste to maintain high standards.
7. Assist in menu development and recipe standardization.
8. Implement and enforce sanitation standards and hygiene practices.
9. Collaborate with other departments for smooth overall hotel operations.
10. Stay updated on culinary trends and incorporate them into menu planning.
The ideal candidate is someone who has a passion for service and creating unforgettable dining experiences. You should have excellent service skills, a willingness to learn, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
