IT Manager

We are seeking to recruit a dedicated & passionate IT Manager who will be reporting to the Managing Director.

Key Responsibilities:

• Installing, configuring, testing and maintaining operating systems, application
• software and system management tools.
• Daily-to-day operation of ERP system(s).
• Manage the maintenance and completion of IT operational tasks (daily, weekly, monthly, yearly).
• Ensure maximum availability and uptime of systems running on hardware, such as email systems and systems relying on database servers and file servers.
• Ensure that all systems are fully backed-up and resilient and that data is stored securely in line with IT security requirements.
• Implementation of IT strategy across the company.
• Maintenance and configuration of retail pharmacy software.
• Ensure IT security is at the forefront of all delivery, minimising any potential risk of data loss.
• Determine migration strategies from outdated systems to new systems.
• Management of key hardware, including servers, firewalls and routers, switches,
• PCs, laptops, mobile phones, printers and multi-function devices and telephone equipment.
• Work with suppliers and third parties in delivery of services and projects.
• Liaise with hardware and software vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution.
• Write and maintain custom scripts to increase system efficiency and lower the human intervention time on any tasks.
• Analysing the business requirements of all departments to determine their technology needs.
• Devising and establishing IT policies and systems to support the implementation of strategies set by upper management.

Candidate Profile:

• Bachelors/Masters degree or equivalent with certificates for technology areas
• Advanced technical troubleshooting skills
• Advanced networking knowledge
• Extensive experience with ERP systems especially Microsoft Dynamics is a must
• Excellent communication skills
• A minimum of 10 years experience within a similar role
• Experience with working in project teams
• Experience with managing relationships with third parties
• Existing relationships with software and hardware vendors is beneficial
