Job Title: Junior Pharmacy Dispenser

Location: West Region

Working Hours:

  • Monday Thursday: 08:00  - 13:30 (Morning Shift), 13:30 - 19:00 (Afternoon shift)
  • Friday & Saturday: 08:00 - 14:30 (Morning Shift), 14:30 - 20:00 (Afternoon shift)
  • Sunday: 08:00 - 15:00

Responsibilities:

  1. Dispensing Medications: Accurately dispense prescribed medications following standard operating procedures and ensuring adherence to legal and ethical guidelines.
  2. Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries, assisting with product selection, and offering advice on over-the-counter medications.
  3. Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining appropriate stock levels by monitoring inventory, ordering medications and supplies, and conducting regular stock checks.
  4. Record Keeping: Maintain meticulous records of prescriptions filled, inventory transactions, and customer information in compliance with regulatory requirements.
  5. Collaboration: Work closely with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to ensure efficient workflow and quality patient care.
  6. Compliance: Adhere to all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies pertaining to pharmacy operations, including patient confidentiality and safety protocols.
  7. Quality Assurance: Participate in quality assurance initiatives such as medication reconciliation, medication therapy management, and adherence programs.

Requirements:

  • Educational Background: A diploma or certificate in Pharmacy Dispensing or a related field is preferred, but not required. Training will be provided for candidates without prior experience.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and accuracy in dispensing medications.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with customers and healthcare professionals.
