Job purpose:
- Cabinet Maker, to construct, assemble and install cabinets for kitchen, Closet, wardrobe, and vanity according to specifications given by designer and workshop supervisor. Ensuring precision and attention to detail.
- Transforming design concepts into functional and aesthetically pleasing products that meet client expectations and company standards.
Key duties :
- Read and interpret job cards from designer to understand project requirements.
- Measure, cut, and shape plywood and other material using a panel saw machine, screwdriver, hand tools, and woodworking machinery.
- Assemble cabinets, furniture, and fittings with precision and attention to detail.
- Install cabinets and custom pieces on-site, ensuring proper alignment and secure fittings.
- Be able to complete tasks of work given in a day.
- Sand, stain, polish, and finish surfaces to achieve a high-quality appearance.
- Inspect completed products for accuracy, quality,and aesthetics.
- Collaborate with designers, workshop representatives, administrators, managers, and clients.
- Maintain a clean and organized workshop.
- Follow all health and safety guidelines.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience as a cabinet maker (+2 years).
- Ability to read and interpret job cards.
- Capable of lifting heavy materials and standing for long periods.
- Efficient in meeting deadlines.
- Able to collaborate effectively with the whole team.
- Knowledge of safety awareness.
- A driving license is an advantage.
- Flexible in overtime.
