About the Role:

Due to continued growth of our global subsidiary governance services, today in Mauritius we are looking to hire accomplished Legal Officer to support our clients in this field. As Legal Officer, you will form a part of a new legal team providing top quality services to international clients. This role will suit engaged, customer-orientated individuals who wish to develop and realize their potential within Citco group.

Job Duties in Brief:

  • Act independently and assist senior lawyers in the provision of corporate subsidiary governanceservices to clients with worldwide presence;
  • Prepare and review drafted legal documents for all stages of the company lifecycle, i.e. from company incorporation through to dissolution, within agreed deadlines;
  • Perform and monitor statutory filings with local authorities;
  • Co-ordinate with business partners, clients and colleagues worldwide in order to gather information and documentation required to carry out assignments;
  • Ensure that client’s, local, international and industry specific requirements are met and legal updates shared;
  • Maintain data and ensure proper reporting.

About You:

  • Have a degree in Law;
  • 1+ years of experience in provision corporate services to international clients or 2+ years of experience in corporate law field;
  • Fluency in English (both written and spoken);
  • Be a flexible, proactive and attentive to details team player with excellent communication skills.
