Our client is currently searching a motivated Finance Manager who will have the responsibilities to:
1.Manages the staff within the accounts team
2.Oversees the financial operations of the firm, including accounts payable & receivable.
3.Prepares the month end reporting pack and run monthly profitability analysis
4.Prepares operational reports for management analysis
5.Implements operational best practices
6.Prepares the monthly cash forecast
7.Assists in the capital request and budgeting processes
8.Reviewing and managing Tax Compliance for all tax types
9.Prepares all monthly submissions
10.Liasing with the Mauritian External Audit team.
11.Providing a Tax Advisory function to the compagnie( Mauritius Related matters )
12.Ensures appropriate and effective accounting policies, procedures and processes are developed, maintained and continuously monitored in accordance with statutory requirements and accounting standards.
13.Ad hoc projects and analysis
Qualifications, Competencies and Experience required:
Fully qualified ACCA
Management and Leadership skills
Knowledge of Mauritian Tax Law
Strong Analytical & Tax Accounting experience
High level of accuracy and analytic ability
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Problem-solving skills
Must have intermediate computer skills on Microsoft office especially on Microsoft Excel.
Proficiency in the use of software programs for:
Accounting & Reporting
Word / Excel

Desired Experience & Qualification
ACCA with at least 10 years post qualification experience
At least 5 years relevant experience in a finance mgmt. role
Have proven experience in reporting / management accounting and running full financial
function
Proven experience in managing a team
