Overview

Our Client is looking for a  Commercial Sales Specialist  Petroleum to maintain and grow commercial base business , identify opportunities and gain new business to ensure sustainable profitability and volume growth


What You Will Do

Business Retention and Growth

– Stable customer base developed and maintained.

-Regular Prospections

– Increased market share.

– Analyse sales statistics (last year period, latest results)

– Ensure profitably targets are met (Volume, Gross Margin)

– Ensure that supply agreements are in place with commercial, lubes and customers

-Grow the Commercial,  Card, lubes business through acquisition of new accounts.

Customer Support

– Support customers with technical queries

– Organise and conduct technical training to commercial customers, professional transport associations,..

-Provide technical support to commercial customers in respect of usage in industry

– Use of technology to provide new business solutions to commercial customers (e.g. fleet management solutions)

– Regular customer visit

– Positive Customer Feedback from relevant NPS Survey

– Determine customer requirement in term of  lubes and  equipment

-Key Accounts Management

-Respond to customer queries

Business Operations

– Ensure positive return on investments at customer sites

– Manage the capital expenditure budget

– Ensure Commercial, Lubes and  operations targets are met or exceeded

– Profitability measures established and implemented.

– Prepare regular Market Intelligence reports

– Executes strategies and Marketing Plans in line with overall strategic directions

– Attend monthly Credit board meetings and ensure that credit performance requirements are met

– Cost Management

Customer Engagement

– Plan, device and follow up on promotional campaigns for resellers and distributors

– Formulate measurable sales objective for campaign

– Organise and conduct workshops for transport and leisure / fishing boats associations

– Create brand awareness by participation in various shows (e.g. Motor show)

— Assess support required for each initiative

HSEQ

– Complete regular HSEQ checklists as required

– Ensure Asset Integrity

– Ensure that the lubes and equipment are regularly maintained

– Plan with HSEQ specialist for HSEQ Training at customer sites


Requirements:

Degree in Engineering or Sales & Marketing

2 years experience in a sales/commercial environment

Experience in petroleum industry will be an advantage.
